Author Guidelines

The Journal of Management Business Literacy (JMBL) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by any other journal. All manuscripts must be written in English and submitted through the journal's Online Journal System (OJS).

Manuscript Types

JMBL accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Conceptual Papers
  • Case Studies

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare their manuscripts according to the following requirements:

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • The manuscript should be prepared using the official JMBL Article Template.
  • The manuscript should contain:
    • Title
    • Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
    • Abstract (150–250 words)
    • Keywords (3–5 keywords)
    • Introduction
    • Literature Review (if applicable)
    • Research Method
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgements (optional)
    • References
  • The manuscript should normally be 5,000–8,000 words, including references.
  • References should follow the APA (7th Edition) citation style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant references, with a substantial proportion drawn from peer-reviewed international journals.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the JMBL Online Journal System (OJS). Authors should ensure that all required metadata are completed accurately during submission.

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submitted version.
  • The manuscript complies with the journal's ethical standards.
  • Similarity levels comply with the journal's plagiarism policy.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript's academic merit.

Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to the publication ethics of JMBL and the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or unethical research practices will result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Journal of Management Business Literacy (JMBL) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or article publication.

The journal applies the following fee policy:

  • Article Submission Fee: Free
  • Peer Review Fee: Free
  • Article Processing Charge (APC): Free
  • Article Publication Fee: Free

Authors are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the submission, review, editorial, or publication process.

JMBL is fully supported by Penerbit Tiga Pilar Literasi as part of its commitment to promoting the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research without financial barriers for authors or readers.

All published articles are made immediately and permanently available under the journal's Open Access Policy, ensuring unrestricted access to scientific knowledge for the global academic community.

Authors retain the copyright of their work. Accepted articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
